ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The follow-up to Soulgrass. Americana-meets-jazz-meets-groove featuring Bela Fleck, Victor Wooten and another all-star cast recorded live in Nashville. Evans makes a soulful vocal debut here. This is a no-holds-barred look at the blend of acoustic stringed instruments with Evans own jazz overtones. If you like the Flecktones-meets-Weather Report, here ya go. Evans once again blazes into unknown territory and pulls it off. Have fun with this one.
Powerhouse drummer Dennis Chambers, who plays on other Evans Cd's, will not let you down. When Victor Wooten teams up with Dennis Chambers it is a one of a kind team. You also hear people like Sam Bush, Richard Bona, Joel Rosenblatt, clifford Carter, Pat Bergeson, JIm Beard, on this one too( plus many others.)
Note : Evans makes his vocal debut on this cd and pulls if off with a rather Bruce hornsby meets Dave mathews feel to it.
