ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Thanks to a move from a few friends Billy Boaz feels obligated and proud to release his debut album "Call in the Hounds."

"Call in the Hounds" started as a project Billy did in his free time. The lad has been working on for the past few months now. He stayed in the studio and worked until he came out with a product he liked. That product now stands before you as "Call in the Hounds". "Do You Wanna Walk With Me", the album's first single, has gained great positive feedback. However, Call in the Hounds sets out to exceed expectations set by that single. Boaz rocks until he can't stop and mellows out with great evocation and dynamics.

Furthermore, Boaz's humor runs rampant throughout the album. With tongue firmly planted in his cheek, he remasters one of his firsts Coffee is Awesome, improvises Cloud of Hatred and writes/records/mixes Mr. Brown's song in under 10 minutes. There are, also, poignant moments throughout the album. Brown Water Blues and Evangeline discuss the feeling of losing a romantic relationship. Finally, the world is rocked by numbers like Seventeen + Broke, Rockabilly Rock 'n' Roll and the great Beauty and the Beast.

Billy Boaz would like to personally thank your for checking out his music and will gladly remind you that it is only the beginning, my friend.
