Album Notes
“The themes of the album...are around the complex relationship of nature vs. urban life. The highway vs. water. The two worlds that I am stretched between. There's also a lot of heartbreak. Personal heartbreak, and also heartbreak about my country and how our government is robbing so many people, including us, of so many freedoms that are inherent in all human life.” —Bitch

The world is blessed with this work
I started following Bitch & Animal actually just as they were about to part ways. When Bitch released this solo work I was very happy & each track on it has lived up to the standards that I had came to expect.
Many of the songs have inspired me in my social justice activism others have helped me through loosing a lover. I turn to Rise each time that I need a lift due to her phrase. Dare me to rise & I'll rise.
