Biteboy is true rock and roll at its finest.
BITEBOY is composed of singer/songwriter Rick Namey on guitar and vocals, Dorothy Hall on percussion and Lucien Soulon on bass and vocals.
Formed in 2004, biteboy's music has been described best by its influences: Classic and Southern Rock with elements of Punk, Alternative and even Hip-Hop. Why does everybody try to describe music in print? Obviously, you have to hear it. This is where most artists tell you that their music defies categorization. Biteboy’s certainly does.
The lyrics are simply intense, turning phrases and touching nerves -- “Yes, I hate you, but I hope you make it home okay, sorry about the rain…” You’ve never heard it described that way, but you’ve felt the emotion.
Rick Namey has been described as the fastest guitar player in the world. We’ll let you be the judge. He’s certainly a gunslinger. Picking with his teeth, writhing violently and behind his head make him a force to be reckoned with.
Dorothy Hall’s spot-on beat and high powered rhythms give the beat to the Bite. Her soaring, operatic soprano vocals, help give Biteboy the unique sound they are known for.
Lucien Soulon is one of the hookiest bass part writers and players ever. Just listen to his playing on biteboy's newest single "never enough". You're sure to hear bass players in music stores everywhere imitating this trademark riff!
People come to see Biteboy shows for many reasons. They always leave as fans.
