ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
My name is Bjorn Quenemoen. I am a songwriter, composer, vocalist, and harmony specialist. This album, Living Cheap, was released in July 2003. I try to keep my ideas concise and my arrangements subtle but effective. I take an approach to multi-track recording in which instruments, themes, and timbres sneak in and drift away similarly as if they had never happened. Right now I am living in New York and am in the process of recording my next album which, as it seems now, will be much more elaborate, but not necessarily better, than 'Living Cheap.' I highly recommend this one. :)
Aside from music, I aspire to run a very successful popcorn business called 'BjornQorn' that boasts a mind-blowing and moderately healthy popcorn. I hold BjornQorn parties once a month at my place if you're interested in a taste...enjoy!

pleasant
I bought this cd on impulse, and I'm happy that I did. It's very pleasant and soothing. One of the things I like best is that it seems... hmm, personal. when I listen to it, it's like Bjorn is singing right there in the room with me. It's an intimate cd. The only thing I don't like about it is that there isn't a great deal of variety. I've listened to it a few times, and all the songs pretty much sound the same to me.
