Wow!What a fantastic album! There is great musicianship, fine production, and the lyrics/vocals are some of the best to come out of a christian band that I've heard in a long time!I put Black Pajent in my regular rotation of music right along with Demon Hunter,Tourniquet,Impellitteri, etc. As an old and new school christian metalhead, there is nothing better than powerfull and meaningfull metal to listen to.Black Pajent seems to be very humble and real in their walk with Him even only being teenagers!Musically these kids are on top of their game. The guitars are heavy and clear sounding, with some clean sounds as well. The vocals are mostly screamed verses and clear choruses with some variation. There are some parts where Gabe screams, sings clear, and screams again in one lyric line, which I think is very cool. There are actual guitar solos and some keyboards going on too!I'll call it progressive metalcore.Excellent song arrangements too.The rhythym section is also top notch, lots of clear low end from the bass, with some distorted bass as well. The bass and drums lock in together well and change their parts up quite a bit, which I like.Lots of double bass, triple bass, start and stop, changing beats, etc.Well thats about it.I will be recommending this album to all my friends and family.I gave it 4 stars because I've only had it for 4 weeks. But I listen to it almost every day.I think it will stand the test of time for 5 stars.
