ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This recording was done live in the studio, the way I play my live shows. I rock a bucket under my left foot and with my right work a bass drun pedal backwards hitting a five gallon bucket. Resophonic guitars were used exclusively. National Delphi and Polychrome Tricone for slide and Dobro for standard tuned fingerpicking. The Polychrome Tricone was used in standard tuning for Rockabilly Bash. Harp is on three songs overdubbed on two. One Meatball has the harp on the rack. Pamela Polston of Seven Days Newspaper says," Blue Fox's vocals are lazy-growly-sexy and his guitar playing is ultra-strength." Art Edelstein of the Times Argus says "One of the few authentic acoustic blues musicians in Vermont-well worth a listen." Charlie Frazier of Good Citizen magazine says "He is well-known locally as a player of relentless energy, passion and showmanship."
