ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"As Dylan put it 'everybody must get stoned.' Well it seems that it is Blue Steel's time, and, as a matter of fact, we are 'Stoned Again!'" says lead singer Matt "Luther" Wells. "But seriously, we wanted to create the kind of compilation demanded by our fans. So here it is!"

The new compilation has many of BS44's old standbys like "Love You That Way," "Without You," and of course "Stoned Again," but it also includes previously unreleased demo versions of "Poem 94," "Red Dress," and "Brown Recluse." In addition, there is the unreleased smash fan favorite "Cosmatoid Boogie!" "Our hardcore fans love Cosmatoids!" says singer Matt Luther, "We had to release it...it was our bound duty!"

This compilation is special because it features the guitar stylings of both PJ Wells and Jeff Grau. The CD features tracks produced by Multi-Platinum producer and performer Scott Mathews, as well as ones produced by the band. "We hope you all enjoy this album," repeats Matt Luther Wells. "As the song says, 'Attention People of Earth, Let's Boogie!"

Blue Steel 44 is, and always will be:
Matt "Luther" Wells, lead vocals, keyboards
Phil "PJ" Wells, lead guitar, rhythm guitar, drum programs
Phil "Onion" Valochik, bass, rhythm guitar, drum programs
Jeff "The Monster" Grau, lead guitar, rhythm guitar
Additional Musician:
Scott "No Nickname" Mathews, drums, percussion, sax,
keyboards, and other odd noises...

Guest Artists: Scott Mathews,
Background vocals on "Love You That Way."
Phil "PJ" Wells, guitars on Poem 94 (demo), Red Dress (demo), Brown Recluse (demo), and Cosmatoid Boogie.

All tracks produced by Scott Mathews except for Poem 94(demo), Red Dress(demo), Brown Recluse(demo), and Cosmatoid Boogie which were produced by Matt and PJ Wells.

!Attention! News Flash! BS44 has finished its new projects "May You Have the Blues" and Karakorum. They are due to be released in February 2009. For those of you who can't wait, "The Ultimate Blue Steel 44" and "Recluse" are now both available right here. So listen and enjoy!
