ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Bookie, Book Money, or just Boss. He may go be many names but he is the brains behind Guaranteed Entertainment. Founder and CEO; born Keysen Jackman on the south side of Minneapolis, MN. Been rapping since the age of 14 over rap instrumentals; has grown into a very seasonal rapper. He later went on to form the group Addicted to Drama, of which had 3 members, Bookie, Casino, and Sleepy. Together the group would release 3 albums; he would later go solo, being more focused than the others.
In 2004 Bookie founded Guaranteed Entertainment (or G.E. as its known in the streets) an entertainment company with two dimensions: music and comedy. With music Bookie has that covered, with his versatile style and raw skills and broad word play Bookie gives the people what they want. He also uses music as a means of therapy for the day to day struggles in his life. As a solo artist Bookie has released two solo albums, “Under Da Influence” and “Mo Guns Than Roses”. Also two mixtapes “Sleep When I’m Dead” and “T.C. Next Up”. With the comedy dimension, the focus will be on films and dvd’s with comedy skits. All which will be produced and distributed by G.E.
Bookie has put together another group of solo acts to the label; Poison Ivy “GE’s first lady”, Kinfella, Raemo-P, Ray-C and Moochy C. Bookie explains: “We’re a group, but at the same time we’re not. We all solo artists but we all represent Guaranteed Entertainment, so it just made sense.”
Bookie also put together a non profit movement titled “We Must Be Heard” a foundation for local artist to get together network put their connections and ideas together to help everybody get further as artists and business people. Also teaching kids the basics of performing or running studio equipment.
Bookie has won many competitions in the Twin Cities; he also won the Twin Cities Next Up Award at the First Annual Twin Cities Hip Hop Awards. At the Second show he was nominated for “Mayor of Mpls”, “Best Mixtape” and “Best Label”. Book Money recently had his single “Sippin on Da Goose” played on B96 which is the Twin Cities premier hip hop station. He has gained attention from different major labels one being Slip N Slide which is home to platinum artist such as Trina, Rick Ross, Plies, and Trick Daddy.
Bookie has opened for many successful and established artists such as: Mystical, Trina, Fabolous, Alcoholiks, Slum Village, and many more. Also performing at all the local hot hip hop spots: Quest, Fine Line, Red Sea, DinkyTowner, Hyatt, Cotton Club, El Rodeo, Daddy Rocks, and the list goes on.
Bookie lives by one motto “Make the impossible, possible” And with the rest of GE with him, that’s exactly what they plan to do. Get ready for the future.
