Album Notes
Bordello was formed two years ago when John Bordell was in the confines of a cover band and felt the desire to start writing some of his own tunes. He teamed up with Gary Eisenbraun (a coworker) who was already a very experienced songwriter and musician and started sharing lyrical and guitar ideas. Gary then came up with some serious ear catching riffs and melodies to complement John’s songs. John and Gary worked a few months on the project when Louie Markulin (the bass player from the cover band) expressed interest in the “Bordello Project”. He soon was adding punchy bass lines and his high register vocal harmonies to complement John’s singing. Shortly thereafter, Johnny (John’s son) came home from his military service, heard the project and immediately jumped on board bringing his fresh perspective and his drum playing skills to then, what would become known as BORDELLO!
