ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
I have recently recorded a new Cd called "Songs in Black and White" and it is a simple production
with a Steinway and my vocal.

It was recorded in H. Nilssons house and was a great experience to do.

It was all done in first and second takes, so the record should have a certain freshness to it.

I have sung and played all at once.

The first single from this album is "Stories". You can download from this site.

The release of "Songs black and white" is a collaboration between "Positive Music" and "Blue Desert".

My philosophy on this album has been that it should be simple to make and should have the concept of "black and white" as the old movies. And in that sense people could contribute their own colours to the songs. I feel it is very important that the listener has a chance to contribute to the songs, when they are done.

The most music I like has that quality.

Another thing about "black and white" is that a lot of the essentials in life are exactly that, like day and night, coffee and cream, salt and pepper, darkness and light, etc. and so the album cover has a few pictures with that reference in mind.

But as with life and music, who is satisfied with just the essentials, no...it takes more, it takes the essentials to just have a basic foundation for oneself and one's family and friends, that is important. But when that is done, it is all about how you create the icing on the cake or the dressing on the salad. It is about colours!

I hope you will find my new album "Songs in black and white" worthy of a second and third run through and I would be more than delighted to hear your response re. the songs.

One of my basic philosophies about writing songs is that: "I believe a song can make a difference, still" and so I would love to hear the difference my songs or a song of mine have made in your life, no matter how small.

I get a lot of my inspiration from reading and I have gotten a lot of inspiration from one writer in particular, namely mr. L. Ron Hubbard and I can recommend his books to anyone interested in life and how to improve your own life and the lives of those around you. Check out www.lronhubbard.org

I have recently completed another project with my friend and guitarist and producer, Lars Krarup J. and we have a band called "SoulCowboys". We are getting ready to release 12 brand new songs this fall. Be on the lookout for that one.

Thank you for your interest and let me hear from you.

Much music,

Boskov

My most favorite CD
I use the CD to relax, to bring me in a good mood when I\'m sad and it ALWAYS helped or just to have fun. Fact: It\'s the best CD I bought this year!
I like EVERY SONG on it, even though I must admit that \"Stories\" is my favorite.

Question: Is there a single of his X-mas song? For I want to buy it.
