ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
David Bosma has been writing songs since he picked up the guitar at the age of sixteen. He is/was/will be a member of Victoria rock groups Seven Year Old Poets, The Poppies, The Wildeggs, Splinterz. His influences are many but he notes especially artists like Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, The Velvet Underground, Kieth Richards, Crazy Horse as well as lots of inspiration from literature such as Arthur Rimbaud, Jack Kerouac, Rumi and Ian Fleming. He is also a massive fan of the blues and flamenco guitar. Bosma generally records true garage music on simple, some would say out-dated, equipment to achieve his unique non-processed, no auto-tune sound. Like recordings used to be made.
