Brandin Reed was born in Lakewood, California, on April 27, 1977. The youngest son of Joann and Larry Reed, an evangelist and radical street preacher. He was brought up and raised in the church and outreach ministry. At the age of 14, Brandin's family settled in the Northwest where his father was hired by long time friend, Pastor Larry Huch at New Beginnings Christian Church in Portland, Oregon. Larry Reed and Larry Huch have a friendship and history in ministry together than stretches back over thirty years.
Out of this church, Brandin's life began to take shape and direction, and his gifts as a singer/songwriter began to blossom. Throughout his teenage years he was actively involved with music ministry, playing in youth group, street performances, state prisons across the nation, and weekly at a local 12 Step support group called Overcomers. Through the years and these experiences, Brandin developed a heart for the broken and compassion to love all people, from all walks of life.
Brandin began working for New Beginnings as a Graphic Designer and later transitioned into web development and design. In June of 1999, Brandin married Pastor Larry Huch's eldest daughter, Anna. They have identical twin boys, Asher and Judah, and a beautiful daughter, Aviva.
In 2004, Brandin and his family, along with the Huch's, all moved to Dallas, Texas to continue on the next phase of ministry, DFW New Beginnings. Over time, Brandin trained and built a team of young artists and programmers to help facilitate his role as Creative Art Director, as he continued to peruse his dreams in music.
Today, Brandin is currently a Minister of Music at DFW New Beginnings in Irving, TX. Along with leading the congregation in praise & worship, he is a prolific and anointed song writer.
