ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Bray is truly a rare talent. Ignited by jagged guitar driven grooves, catchy pop rock hooks, and his kinetic live performances, he and his band consistently fuel audiences into a feel good frenzy. As a performer, Bray is an unexpected combination:
The fire and strut of the classic rock frontman, the moves and voice of the classic soulman , and the quick self-effacing humor of the classic talk show host. The startling result has been described as Bowie meets the Foo Fighters.

Called "Brilliant and Energetic" by the San Francisco Examiner, and voted in the Top 100 Unsigned Bands in the Nation by Music Connection Magazine, Bray has had songs in 6 national TV shows, and his excellent videos (www.youtube.com/braymusic) have garnered more than 3 million views in total.

On the road, Bray and his band have performed in 10 countries around the globe to crowds in excess of 7,000. He has been featured in the Grammy New Artist Showcase and shared the stage with legends such as Scott Weiland and Joe Satriani.

On his latest CD "The End Is The Beginning," Bray reaches into rock's past for inspiration, and delivers seven instantly memorable, modern classics, from the angular driving opener "Frozen Bodies" to the haunting modernistic "Karmas in Debt" and "Kabuki Scene," to artful and boldly sensitive ballads "Beautiful Girl" and "Marquee," to hit singles in waiting "Little Black Heart" and "Natasha," which sound like great lost tunes unearthed from rock's heydey and given a contemporary polish.

Bray's music is somehow distinctly visual. A unique sound defined by fearless vocals soaring over tight driving tracks, all of which culminate into unforgettable pop-rock dramas.

• “Bray is undefeated in the originality category.” Zero magazine

• “Bray and his band blow the doors off the joint!" Dr Fink (keyboardist for Prince and the Revolution)

• “I wouldn’t be surprised at all if he lands a major recording contract.” Aaron Axelson - music director, LIVE 105FM San Francisco

miss yuki

a delightful experience!
This album takes me on a ride from start to finish; there is never a dull moment in sound or mood, making this such a whole and complete album to listen to all the way through. Whether you want to rock out, feel tender and nostalgic, or simply in a mood to be transported to another time, this album is a go-to album. I'm a fan!

The End is the Beginning

Bray has it all!
Great combination of new and great sounds. Each song offers something special to the listener (soul, pop, classic, etc), it truly has it all.

Eclectically Awesome
A mix of the new and the nostalgic, rock, 80's pop reminiscent, and cinematic sounds! You will never get bored of this album.

'The End Is The Beginning' will intrigue you!
I have heard most of these songs for the first time as acoustic 'Live' performances so to hear the band versions on this recording was an additional treat. Listen to my favorite 'Little Black Heart' a strong rocker that can really get a crowd moving as I have witnessed. Two other favorites of mine are 'Frozen Bodies' an accurate description of some peoples actions and 'Natasha' which has a very intriguing video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dlBbQ8L3tr8 to go along with an interesting lyrical story line. All in all a very satisfying group of songs.

Love it!!
I Loved this album from the first time I heard it. They are all great songs but 'Kabuki Scene' & 'Natasha' are my favorites. Bray has definitely created an awesome, heartfelt album. Can't wait to hear more!!

All your musical food groups
This album has all you need to satisfy your musical cravings. When you need a soulful ballad, turn on "Beautiful Girl." When you want an edgy tune that's heavy on power chords, check out "Little Black Heart." The lyrics in "Frozen Bodies" remind us to get out there and make something happen, which is exactly what Bray is doing with his talents on this album as a singer, songwriter, and guitarist. It's not often you hear the influence of Rush, Lenny Kravitz, Japan, and Queens of the Stone Age all on the same album, yet somehow Bray makes it work. The sounds and beats on "The End Is The Beginning" are familiar, yet nothing like anything you've ever heard.

Meet your new favorite artist! There is a world of great music outside of the top 40. Start here. Home grown talent with big city polished sound. He is often compared to other great artists, but after hearing his music, you'll know it stands alone as great unto itself.
