Album Notes
This five piece was formed by front man Brady Ash while attending Texas Tech University in Lubbock,TX. He found music as a creative and constructive outlet. He taught himself to play guitar and began writing and arranging songs. He then convinced longtime friends and fellow natives of his hometown of Throckmorton, TX, whom were also in Lubbock at that time to join him on this journey. Bridget Briles, trained classically on the violin for close to a decade added vibrance and warmth in her sound coupled with harmonies. Cousins Drew Moses, (percussionist) and Monty Scrogum, (bassist) formed the rest of the rhythm section. Moses portrays dynamic snare and top work while Scrogum compliments the low end with in the pocket accents. It was through a mutual friend where they found lead guitarist R.C. Schwartz in the fall of '07. As a second generation musical prodigy his impact was undeniable adding somber to shredding riffs. They had found their niche and began to hone their sound. They quickly established a faithful following and recorded their first full length album "Pleasurable Pain" in the spring of '09. Having success with their first single breaking inside the top 20 they had made a name for themselves. They released two additional singles that also received frequent radio play and chart notoriety. They continue to tour sharing the stage with acts like Eli Young, Pat Green, and Jack Ingram. They released their sophomore album "No Labels" in the early spring of '13. Their live shows are a high energy experience where the camaraderie doesn't go unnoticed. They cover both Country and Rock spectrums. They can best be described as Rock that rolls with Country soul.
