Ne me Quitte Pas: Piaf and Brel, the Impossible Concert is a musical tribute to the lives and talents of French musical icons Jacques Brel and Edith Piaf. Edith Piaf and Jacques Brel sang songs of romance, heartbreak, hope and love. They both lived lives of drama and passion. However, they didn't ever perform on the same stage.
This 'impossible' concert, based on a cabaret show of the same name, stars veteran performers Bremner Duthie (www.bremnerduthie.com) and Melanie Gall (www.melaniegall.com).
"These splendid vocalists give a bravura display of amazing colour and dynamic range. Five stars."
- Winnipeg Free Press
"Gall is a classically trained opera singer with an astounding voice that leaves audiences breathless, while Duthie sings deep and powerfully and with passion enough to simultaneously tame and break a heart in the same measure."
- Vue Magazine
"Two highly skilled performers present a beautifully rendered and loving homage to the French icons."
