Album Notes
A Guerrilla Folk Artist native to North Carolina Brendan O'Donnell is the Artist Howlround. He grew up both influenced by the traditional acoustic Appalachian music and the art explosion of Chapel Hill. He put his musical feet on the ground with the now legendary punk band Lo-Fi Conspiracy and then went on to be a starting member of Valient Thorr. He has shared the stage with everyone from Nemo (pre-Avett Bros) to Wesley Willis. He combines a fluctuating sound of experimentation with hardened tradition.

His Album, "You'll Be Alone, Not Lost" is a masterpiece of lyricism and gentle acoustic artistry. It is a symbol of what one man can accomplish when life, labor and oblivion present their greatest challenges. This EP is a testament to human determination. It is a call to history when man scraped together only what meant the most to him. In order to complete these five songs, Brendan O'Donnell would often resort to any means necessary. If recording in the backseat of a car to finish an idea, or in the bottom of a basement at midnight, these songs needed to be captured.

This EP is a perspective of a man who adheres to his vision, though life has called on him to do otherwise.
