ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
It’s clear from the recent success of bands like Dr. Dog, Iron & Wine, Blitzen Trapper and Fleet Foxes that there is a bit of a modern folk rock Renaissance going on, one that—while clearly indebteded to Brian Wilson, Lennon & McCartney, CSN&Y and other icons of the 60’s—has managed to successfully integrate modern recording technology and vitality with a nostalgic creative streak fueled by well-maintained vintage gear and clever referentiality.

With his fourth CD release, Mystic-based folk rock songwriter Brett Terry has produced his best work to date - a thoroughly pleasant collection featuring close vocal harmonies, soulful and rocking guitar work, and vintage instruments and produced by Eric Lichter at the super retro cool vintage and analog friendly Dirt Floor Studios.
