ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
A very melodic style of acoustic guitar, using a variety of techniques not often found on one album. You may find it hard to believe that one person performed all that you're hearing live in the studio. The arrangements are sophisticated, with driving themes that never give way to random noodling. From a guitar player that's received many a standing ovation from his peers.
Originally from Halifax (Canada), Brian studied music at St. Francis Xavier University and the University of North Texas, where he earned a Masters Degree in Music. He has served as a guitar instructor at the University of North Texas, Cedar Valley College and the National Guitar Workshop. His compositions and performances have been featured nationally in Canada (CBC, YTV) and the United States (FOX, National Public Radio). He has opened for John Cale (Velvet Underground), Bob James, K.C. and the Sunshine Band and Gloria Estafan, and has performed with Martha Reeves and the Vandellas and at George W. Bush’s inaugural ball.
