Winter's Memories

This is a piece I wrote for guitar, solo cello, solo violin and small string orchestra. It was first premiered with the Kent Philharmonia Orchestra. I am very grateful to Carrie Brannen and Katie Lefevre for playing on this recording with me.

Album Notes
This is a simple, but lovely piece for solo guitar, solo violin, solo cello and small string orchestra.

Brian Morris the Grand Rapids, Michigan classical guitarist and vocalist, programs of classical guitar, jazz, blues, original and folk songs have received enthusiastic approval from music scholars and elementary school children alike. His past performances include performances with the Grand Rapids Symphony, the West Shore Symphony, at Notre Dame University and the Kennedy Center. He is currently on the music faculty of Grand Rapids Community College where he teaches guitar and other music courses.

Earning music degrees from both Florida State University and Montana State University, Brian’s past teachers include Christopher Parkening and Bruce Holzman. He has participated in master classes with Manuel Barrueco, David Russell and Michael Lorimer.
