Album Notes
I wrote this song several years ago after hearing some Buble and Sinatra while out for dinner with my wife on our first date out alone after our first baby was born. I had an idea for a song about a great evening together with her, but needed as the evening was shortened by the need to get home and feed the baby, I had to combine a few other dates from our past into one portrait for the song. Everything in it is a real memory I have with her (except for the cherry-red wine, which never happened, because neither of us drink, but I needed something to rhyme with "dined").

I was fortunate enough to have some amazing musicians play on this recording, including three players from the VSO, Ray Kirkham on trumpet, Richard Mingus on horn, and Jeremy Berkman on trombone. Also featured are Daniel Klenner on drums, and Peter Davyduck on upright bass.
