ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
brokeMC has been establishing his musical presence in the New York and National scene without rest for the past six years. Four National tours later, including shows at the Famous Viper Room in Los Angeles and a feature at NXNE in Toronto in 2008, brokeMC has just released his most raw and emotive disc yet.

"Seeing Things" is a walk from the grimey alleys of Brooklyn to the shimmering skyscrapers of Manhattan, from the Deserts of New Mexico to an Alien space ship. brokeMC flexes his storytelling prowess in the vibrant mix of beats by SF Bay Area beatsmith Dozer's lush rhythmic backdrops conjuring images from daydreams and nightmares.

His sharp cadence and everyman flow are garnering him acclaim across the world from the masses who are sick of the same old nonesense. A veteran of countless street cyphers and battles, and DIY punk rock peddler of postmodern anthems, brokeMC is giving you yet another reason to scream at the top of your lungs that "Broke is Okay!"

Every Damn Day People
Too much work and not enough play? If you're hankering for a fresh order of pure potential with a side of funk-laced, white-hot manchild, look no further than BrokeMC. In 'Every Damn Day People', Broke's deep, strong, sexy voice will seduce you and lead you to transcendent truths, passion, and unlimited possibilities. Hints of West African guitar riffs, heavy, sultry beats and the siren-like voice of his female back-up vocalist, Marienyc, will move your feet towards this beacon of light. Have no fear - move into that light. BrokeMC will meet you there, provided you look him in the eye and reveal your truth. People of the earth, we have found a musical avatar and he is BrokeMC.
