ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
I need to talk to you... later. I need to tell you something, she says, between indulgent drags off a menthol cigarette that crackles as it burns to the filter. I push her words to the side, like so many stupid magazines that I can wait to read later, all piling up and cluttering the waiting room tables in my mind, because, you know, everything is cool. Everything feels good. So I kiss her, and she bites my lip, and I taste a little bit of blood. She mumbles an apology. It doesn't matter; she doesn't hurt me.

It won't be long before we're somewhere else, a universe away from here, but for now, I'm content to trace lines with my fingertips across the curves of her skin while all of the seemingly forgettable music hooks itself irrevocably into the back catalogues of my brain, where it will wait, like a snare, to tear at my heels whenever I try to run.

Don't judge a CD by it's location...
I have to admit, I purchased this CD strictly based on the fact of its location: Antarctica. I listened to a couple of the samples, then figured give it a shot, and if it doesn't work out, no big outtage. I was wrong..

This is a complex work of music that is different, similar, enjoyable, unique, and highly replayable all at once. I even found myself "vegging out" by the last tracks. One would think that having 18 tracks of this type of music, that they would get repetitive in nature...not so at all. They each have a character, sound, and beat all their own.

This one will be in my player for a little while, for sheer enjoyment factor!

I've already listened to it twice
The CD just arrived today, and I've already listened to it twice. My favorites are: 802t, Departure, Hidden, Mintaka, Precursor and Sleep. Now I'm just waiting for the Video collection....

wow!
This was the first Brokenkites album that I purchased and I really like the way the songs compliment eachother. I like the fact that the play list is in alphabetical order, neat idea.
