ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
BROOKSIE WELLS
Songwriter, Vocalist, Musician, Artist in Residence for Montessori Schools
Multi-Cultural Children's Programs

Discovered by Bobby Darin, Brooksie wrote for years for Chappell Music, with several of her songs used in recordings and movie soundtracks. She later performed with John Lennon's band Elephant's Memory and as a singer with Kid Creole and the Coconuts. (Kid Creole's recording "Off The Coast Of Me" has recently been re-released.) While raising two children in the early 1990's, Brooksie became an international children's performer, recording "Rainbow Family" and "Brooksie's Kid Songs." Brooksie performs music programs for children at concerts, and as an artist in residence at Montessori schools.
