I heard this performer in concert in Los Angeles and really loved his artistry and command of the instrument. His first CD The Rebel Within was a beautifull crafted adventure into contemporary music. I was delighted to see that he had come out with another CD and was not disappointed. This is a superb collection of music brilliantly performed. Highly recommended.

When I was a young child I was taken to see the great Sergovia. I didn't know very much about classical guitar at the time but was told that the artist was one of the greats. That night I feel in love with the instrument. When I heard Gladios, by Adam Brown, I again could hear the instrument sing. He has carefully crafted each piece mastering the technique required by the composers but going further to tell a story in sound. I have listened to this CD many times and each time I hear new things and continue to appreciate his mastery of the instrument. The CD is a true delight!

This is a superb CD from beginning to end. I would highly recommend it!

It seems to me that the particular heroes of this disc of Latin American guitar gems are Brown himself, who plays with an extremely high level of artistry throughout, and the Paraguayan composer Agustin Barrios, three of whose most accessible and joyful pieces get a welcome outing here. Other listeners will no doubt nominate other favourites but there is no disputing the fact that every piece is played with lyrical intensity and real beauty.

A friend of mine went to see this musician in concert and was very impressed. She bought the CD at the concert and raved about it. She played it for me and I loved it too. I bought this CD and since then it is played regularly. I will definately try to attend his next concert! Bravo!
