Album Notes
After touring G3 2007 with Paul Gilbert, Joe Satriani, and
John Petrucci, as well as releasing his first all instrumental
guitar album \"Unspoken\". Bruce Bouillet is proud to present his second solo effort \"Interventions\". Picking up where his first album left off and heading way deeper into the shred
guitar realm. A must have for any serious guitar fan.

Melodic Shred Gem
Since Jeff Beck the tradition of 6-string shredders has become a large and crowded field (Van Halen, Malmsteen, Satriani, Vai, Gilbert, Petrucci, et al,). Bruce Bouillet's contributions to the genre have been widely acknowledged, but this album shows just what an innovator he is. _Interventions_ showcases Bouillet's unique voice. Sure there's plenty of dazzling chops to be heard on this album, but more importantly, the sheer musicality of his compositions is what stands out. These songs are not mere stunt pieces - each one stands on its own, and what's more, each bears repeated listening - unlike what's usually found on your typical shred record. Bruce's individual voice comes through loud and clear - he has his own phrasing, his own approach to arrangement. Along with great composition, we're treated to fabulous tones, killer grooves, and memorable melodies that will tempt you to put this collection of instrumentals in regular rotation. A must-have for any fan of hard rock guitar.
