Both Sides

by Corey Brunish

This is an experience that is at once upbeat and thoughtful. The first third is jaunty and fun, the second third more contemplative and the final third leaning towards brooding. Reece Marshburn and his trio and guitarist Jon Lundahl are heard throughout

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Corey's vocals have been called "easygoing and tender" by the Jazz Society of Oregon.
On this, his 6th CD, Brunish brings both experience and energy to his song list, made up of both
familiar standards, misappreciated vintage tunes and several modern renditions of timeless classics.

Both Sides
The song “Both Sides Now” is lovely…heartfelt and emotionally affecting to the max. I’ve always loved that song and this rendition truly moved me. And both versions of "You're the Top" are delightful and clever. A true joy!
