Album Notes
Roo was recorded in the Fall of 2006 through Winter 2007 at Buck's home. Roo's first stop was Goldenbug Studios, where Buck sat down with Mike Kohler (Miramax, New York Magazine). Soon after Buck headed over to the beautiful Newkirk Studios to track some guest musicians, including Scott Garapolo (Frank Fillipetti, Steve Albini), Dan Fabragatore, Gerald Menke (Super Furry Animals, Stars Like Fleas), and Boshra AlSaadi (Looker).

Buck enlisted Newkirk's in-house producer Ben Rice (The Mooney Suzuki, Surefire) to mix the album, and then dropped it in the hands of Mark Christensen (Ben Folds, Gavin DeGraw, Moby, Nick Cave, Ben Kweller, etc.) at Engine Room Audio to be mastered.

The result sings for itself. All you have to do is listen.
