any question, we love you Buddy.

I had the pleasure of working with Buddy a long time ago. Sorry to say he took his own life this last weekend. He will be missed.

Fine pickin' and songwriting! When's the next one coming out?
Sometimes spare and haunting, and other times full of incendiary playing, this little gem has it all. If you like fine pickin' and songwriting, then get this recording!Country flavored, with some swing and jazz chops thrown in.I only have two questions: Where's this guy been hiding?, and when's the next one coming out?!

Often, in the normal course of having a smoke, people would ask BC if he had a match. His reply was always a sheepish and wistful, "not since Buddy Holly died." Here's the proof.

One of the best releases of the year!
If you're looking for a 'country' / 'roots' influenced album that doesn't sound like a clone of a thousand other releases, then "Midlife Chrysler" is for you.

The songwriting throughout is exceptional. There are ten tracks on the CD, and as you listen, you feel as though you're sitting in a dark bar somewhere, listening to 10 life-stories over a few beers. When you get to the last track, you wonder if you've just heard the tales of ten different people, or one person talking about different times in his life. It doesn't matter, anyway, because the time was well spent. You feel like you've just read 10 really good short-stories. If there's one thread running though all the songs, it's that of restlessness, and Craig's no-nonsense vocal delivery brings it all alive.

Musically, this CD is a revelation. It's one of those rare releases that comes along every now and then that throws you for a loop every couple of minutes -- really interesting changes, progressions and arrangements. You never know what's just around the bend, but you know you'll love it. The musicianship -- especially the guitar-work -- is top notch throughout. These guys can PLAY!

"Midlife Chrysler" (which is a GREAT title, by the way) is one of the best releases not only of this year, but in MANY years! Don't miss out on this musical journey.
