Don't miss this fantastic record
If you like an assured combination of fine blues and country music, stop here, listen to the samples and buy this record, because this CD is filled with absolutely soulful and sweet guitar work. My track picks are "Sweet Annie D" and "What a perdicament".
On this record you can see how versatile Tom Burch is not only as a player but also as a composer. You get it all: soul and fun. Strongly recommended.

Makes My Ears Smile
I've always been blessed by Tom's playing, and this collection is no exception. From Sweet Annie D to Hot Pursuit, the listener is taken through a maze of vesatility that makes you think that there are actually 3 or 4 different guitarists!
Blues,country,rock,slide,whatever....it's all fair game to Mr. Burch.Rock on,Pieman!

This is my favorite CD, performed by my favorite musician
This CD is every bit as good as the other music written and performed by Tom. Friends that hear the music on the CD for the first time are always impressed.

Tom's a great player!
I have always enjoyed Tom's original compositions at the Jam Zones and the music he puts up at his website. Besides being a fantastic player he's a pretty good guy to! Well actually a great player and great guy. This is a must have CD.

This CD Rocks!!!
I really enjoyed this CD. My favorite track is Hot Persuit. Just makes me want to hit the open road, with the top down!

Sweat, style and soul
Whether it's the greasy slide riffs in `Hot Pursuit', the sweet melodic dual guitar lines and heartfelt vocals of `Because of You', or the lo-fi tongue-in-cheek grunge of `My Name Is Spike', these creative original songs are a showcase of Tom Burch's versatility, sense of humor, and trademark down to earth guitar style. Recommended.

You'd never know by looking at him.
Tom gave me all the change in his pocket to write this review so here goes. One would not get the idea from looking at him that so much smoothness could issue forth from him BUT IT DOES! But anyone who is a foster parent for orphan squirrels has to have a deep mellow vein in him after all. Tom's progression from a small 4 track sound to this is really a testament to the amount of work you can get done when you don't work at it. This sounds so easy and smooth, Toms talent really shines through on this album. The "my name is spike" is definitely an odd turn from the rest of the album, but that's OK because with Tom you always get what you don't expect! Should you buy this album? HELL YES! You don't want all of those cute little squirrels to go hungry do you?! LOVE YA TOM!

yz two fidy.

da bomb....yah
Toms the man when it comes to getting a sweet soulful tone going on.
On the other hand, he's also the man when it comes to kick arse solos!!!
Always there in the cool original tunes dept, he's quite the songsmith, with a smile visible in his tunes, and the ever present country vibe brings a smile to me in particular.

Nice one Tom.
