In the style of Andre Segovia and Christopher Parkening, a full Christmas concert could be performed from these twelve arrangements. From Classical to Impressionism, along with great Spanish composers, the variety is far reaching.
The first song "We Three Kings" opens with a fiery performance of "Leyenda" giving it a great Spanish/Arabian flavor. Several of the tunes also feature works by Tarrega which blends so well with Christmas carols.
The calming "Little Town of Bethlehem" fits perfect with "Clair De Lune" from the Impressionistic Period. Beautiful harmonics are used a lot in this piece to create a tender atmosphere.
There are also lively carols coupled with Bach preludes and fugues for that true classical feel.
All arrangements are intermediate to slightly advanced. None are highly difficult to play, and can be learned rather quickly for performance. The book of notation and tablature (123 pages) is sold separately.
