ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Once in a great while a new presence emerges on the music scene. A presence that excites, arouses and creates new ways of thinking about sound and harmony. After the emergence of such an artist, it is understood that things will never be the same.

California King is that emerging presence.

By fusing alt-rock, R&B and blues, a totally new sound experience is created. Born out of the streets of New York, this heady mix invokes aspects of the psychedelic past and the post-Punk future. Inexhaustible writers, this Brooklyn-based band invites the listener into their inner-most reflections—crooning about a confused society, human potential and loves lost.

Think TV on the Radio… think Prince… think Kings of Leon …

…Think California King!
