"WhistleWonder: The Carols Of Christmas" is a collection of traditional carols - some well-known, others less-familiar, all with fresh new arrangements and the sounds of low whistles, woodwinds, and keyboards performed by Cal Olson. Perfect for holiday background music, the album is also great for helping to prepare hearts and minds for the celebration of Christmas - to help us celebrate the season "intentionally", rather than just watching it fly by. It also includes one classical piece - a kicked-up arrangement of Pachelbel's Canon in D.
"WhistleWonder: The Carols Of Christmas" will be a wonderful addition to your holiday music library!
ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Cal Olson is a musician, a storyteller, a magician, a maker of jewelry and a self-confessed Jack Of A Few Trades.
He’s been involved in music since 5th grade, starting off on piano, sax and recorder but his instrumental diversity was just starting. At one point, he was proficient on 23 or so instruments, although these days he concentrates on just a few. These days, Cal performs on whistles (Irish whistles, tin whistles, pennywhistles), windsynth (or wind controller) and other unusual instruments, performing his own original compositions and a range of other music in a number of styles.
