Album Notes
'Like Honey' was recorded at 19 rue des Frigos—an old Parisian meat fridge complex turned artist squat. At the top of a 7-floors-high concrete stairwell that wraps around a now-empty elevator shaft—every inch covered in layers upon layers of beautiful graffiti—lies the UMJ (Jazz Musician's Union)... and a huge grand piano room. We brought in mics and cables and a computer and ProTools and sat down and recorded all the piano parts in 5 hours.

The other tracks were laid down a half-hour away in Montreuil, with Guillaume Dulac mixing and editing and Alex Tran on drums.

'Like Honey' consists of four dark-yet-upbeat songs that chronicle virgin steps into San Francisco and a lingering eye on Paris, with a piano-heavy bluesy rock feel.
