Album Notes
For 30,000 Kiwi's the new millenium began with the music of
Camille Te Nahu who was playing to the biggest crowd of her life, which turned into the best sing-a-long party her home-town of Gisborne had ever seen.

With her Polynesian roots and a natural feel for rhythm, Camille's sound is rich, classy and captivating. From her first soulful note here's a woman who can take a song and make it her own, whether its roots, pop or R & B.

Little wonder since relocating to Australia from New Zealand Camille
has been snapped up by top-selling artists, Kasey Chambers, Gina Jeffreys, Troy Cassar-Daley, Beccy Cole and Sara Storer.

On arrival in Australia Camille snagged the opening spot on Kasey Chambers "The Captain" tour, as well as singing backing vocals in Kasey's show. For nearly two years Camille travelled Australia and the USA with Kasey Chambers, highlights being her TV appearances on "Austin
City Limits" and "Oxygen" in the USA and "Good News Week" and the CMAA Gold Guitar Awards in Australia.

"Camille is one of my favourite singers ever! She is a beautiful person with a million dollar voice. We're lucky to have her in Australia" - Kasey Chambers

2001 saw Camille touring with three of Australia's biggest stars, Kasey Chambers, Gina Jeffreys and Rick Price.

"Watch for Camille Te Nahu, 25 year old singer travelling with Gina Jeffreys .... She performs a duet with Gina on stage during the show. Her voice is extraordinary". - The Fraser Coast Chronicle, Qld July 01.

"Camille has an extraordinary gift. With a rich, warm timbre her voice is truly like no other. Every breath she takes and every note she sings, Camille leaves her audience mesmerised. With her stunning looks, absolute passion for music, and her incredible talent, I really believe Camille is destined to be a star. I think the music industry is crying out for such an honest, unmistakable, raw talent" - Gina Jeffreys

Aside from touring Camille is also an in-demand session singer. Her beautiful voice and natural ear for harmony makes her a favourite of top Producers Rod McCormack and Nash Chambers.

"Camille is one of the most talented artists I've had the pleasure of working with. She has an incredibly unique voice with a natural sense of rhythm. I honestly believe Camille has what it takes to reach the top" - Nash Chambers

Her most recent recording projects include:

- Gina Jeffreys - "Best Of" Album
- Beccy Cole - Upcoming new Album
- Sara Storer - Beautiful Circle Album
* Kasey Chambers single "Not Pretty Enough"
* Troy Cassar-Daley "Long Way Home" Album
* Gina Jeffreys chart topping single "Angel"
