ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Captain, My Captain is a project of the Dutch musicians Michèle van Trigt and Gerrie Spaansen. Having played together in several bands (Juliet's Ghost, Ernesto vs Bastian, Colleen), they wanted to make music with just the two of them involved.

Their musical common ground had two faces: edgy, alternative rock on one side, and dreamy, melancholy triphop on the other.

After a while, both sides started to blend together more and more. Eventually, they decided to combine the two under one flag: Captain, My Captain.

On their first album, you can hear how both sides have come together.
