ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
John Caranicas was born in Thessaloniki (Salonica), Greece, the city renowned for St. Paul the Apostle's response to its plea, "Come over and help us!". When growing up there and on numerous visits after his emigration to the United States, John became very familiar with the streets Paul walked and with the ancient churches and catacombs where early Christians worshipped.

John's early musical education was in Thessloniki, at the Macedonian Conservatory of Music. After his emigration to the Unites States he received more musical training at the University of Minnesota. His music reflects his love for Greek music, as well as for Latin, jazz, and blues. He combines various styles in this CD, reflecting his firm personal faith and spiritual outlook.

John hopes that his CD will help to center your faith and uplift your spirit in this increasingly difficult and perplexing world.
