Album Notes
Early on, Louis broke into the Rock n' Roll scene with a group named Donnie & the Twilights. By the age of 15 he became the bass player for the well-known group The Vampires from the greater New York area, who recorded their first 45 in 1964 under Poplar Record Co. Not long after that, Louis became the bass player for the world famous Bill Haley & the Comets.

Carol began her music career at an early age. Her genuine love for music was at odds with the grueling competitive spirit many gain in order get ahead in the music world. By the time she was 19, she became the Concertmaster of the Long island Symphony under the direction of the formerly renowned Laszlo Halasz, founder and director of the New York Opera; who was the assistant of Arturo Toscanini. Her first album was recorded in 1975 and was entitled Melodies of inspiration.

You could say that they were as opposite as the East is from the West, but God had other plans. Both Carol & Louis abandoned their careers for a higher calling, to share the Gospel of Jesus through pen, voice and music. They melded their contrasting musical talents into what has become the music loved by many. It is their earnest hope that these selections will be an inspiration and a blessing to those who hear them.
