This soulful, female duo of sisters hails from California, and has been singing together since their childhood. CARRiON sets free an eclectic mix of pop, jazz, and soul, fused with passionate, melodic vocals and laden with heartening lyrical content. They have spent the past two years singing at various places such as juvenile detention centers, churches, various special events, and college campuses. The duo has been the featured artist at former NBA star Chris Webber’s establishment Center Court, the national retail chain Berean Christian Store’s famous in-store events, and has recently been in rotation on contemporary Christian radio.
Their ministry is a unique one, starting with the name CARRiON. The word carrion literally means dead and decaying flesh. The duo chose the word as their group name because they identify with its meaning. Romans 6:11 serves as their motto--Even so consider yourselves to be dead to sin (flesh) but alive to God in Christ Jesus.
CARRiON speaks to the heart of every person. There is freedom from the burden of sin. There is unconditional love. There is perfect peace. There is forgiveness. This is the message CARRiON yearns to take to the world. And to that end, their music is by donation only. These sisters are resolved to gift their music to the world. Salvation is free so the message of salvation should also be free.
NOTE: Because CD Baby requires a retail price for physical or digital music and gets $4 for each CD, CARRiON has set the price of their music at only $5. That $1 is your donation to their ministry.
