Wayne and Wendell Carroll are identical twin brothers from Los Angeles, California. The duo has composed and produced this new CD that features their exceptional talents. The CD has been described as surprisingly smooth yet still contains a progressive element that is easily understood and enjoyed.
The Carroll Brothers Band is based on percussion. Both are drum set players that have performed with numerous personnel in venues throughout the United States and Europe.
On their new album, "Double U C", Wendell plays vibraphone with Wayne performs in the drum chair.
Wayne has performed with:

The twin brothers test their producer skills with songs that are upbeat and lively with a large amount of latin flavor. Bob Summers, whose sister was Mary Ford and whose brother in law is the great guitarist Les Paul, also co-produced this project and played some tasty guitar throughout the CD.
"The band is actually a live performance orientated band. To capture that intensity on CD was quite a challenge," said Wendell Carroll. To understand the sound of this band, one must come out, layback, and see what the "Carroll Brothers" are really about live. The live show features an assortment of percussion. But at the heart of it all, the "Carroll Brothers" are a Jazz Band.
