ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Caruso are an Irish band based in Dublin. The brainchild of Shane Ó Fearghail, Caruso formed around Shane’s debut album ‘The Watcher And The Comet’ in 2008. ‘The Watchers’ release saw Caruso propelled into the European underground scene playing small festivals and low lit clubs around the continent. These shows in turn secured publishing in Germany and German speaking territories. More live dates are planned for France, Germany, Italy and Austria for October 2011. 2012 will see Caruso focus on The States, Asia, Australia and New Zealand as well as returning to tour Europe in the spring!

The eagerly awaited second studio album is set for Spring release 2012. It is a more up tempo affair with stronger songs and bigger vocal performances. It builds on where ‘The Watcher’ left off! First single to be released from the new album is Freak!

“Caruso are one of those unique acts who are just impossible to pigeon hole. One minute you’re hearing the heartfelt warblings of the singer songwriter, the next they’re rocking it out with the best of them. It’s a perfect marriage between the two, and that’s what makes this Dublin band stand out” – ( DJ Sinister Pete – Phantom 105.2 FM – News of the World)

"I'm writing this review after dozens of listens to this CD. Caruso has spun an impressive work of art with the Watcher & the Comet. This music is so hard to classify and that's a great thing. Much of the music is like pieces of a dream with great answers to life's questions somewhere in the mix. You'll hear them if you're listening. If you are listening, I know you're falling in love with this band. Highly recommended!" J.R. Rogers (A Caruso/CD baby Fan)
