ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Beginning at age four, Randy’s interest in piano was founded and now has blossomed to the point of capturing mastery. As his love grew for playing, he learned how to speak the language of music and escape into the compositions he played. Now as a recent college graduate, Randy continues to compose music. Each piece is filled with evidence of the passion he pours into every musical thought. Randy loves to sit at the piano for hours on end, especially with the lights turned low, and silence all around him. In college, friends would gather around to hear his beautiful songs as he played. Looking out among the faces, it was as though everyone was entranced by his music.

Randy’s first CD, Forgotten Legacies, came out when he was in high school and his second, Count the Stars, at the beginning of his college career. They have circulated among friends, school teachers, relatives, and small bookstores, as well as many others who heard of his music in passing or by word of mouth. At least one of Randy’s CD’s is now on every continent, except Antarctica. He has been sending them to people upon request, and has just recently decided to sell them through CDBaby. Most people usually listen to Randy’s music for studying, relaxing, background music, writing time in elementary classrooms, or enjoyment. We are hoping several others will enjoy his music as much as his current listeners do.

Randy is now sharing his love of music with children as he has recently begun teaching piano. A third CD will hopefully be coming sometime in the future as he already has several new songs to record.

Best CD to play while reading, studying, and entertaining.
This is a wonderful CD to have playing in the background to any occasion. Randy is extremely talented! I listen to his CD while reading, having small group, and entertaining. I have many background music CDs, but this is the always the first one that I turn to.

This CD has a good mix. It has some soft and some powerful music on it! I love to read to it, fall asleep to it, or just have it in the backround! Definitely one of my favorites!

Music is very emotional and this CD has it all. The strength of the composition and the blending of the different styles is superb. Buy it, and tell your friends who have never thought about instrumental piano music to consider "Count the Stars"

Serene relaxation!
I heard this CD while visiting Foxhill Inn, in Charlottesville, VA. Loved it so much, I came home and searched for it on the web. Ordered it, got it quickly, and now enjoy my own at-home relaxing with this lovely and serene music. I hope the artist follows through with CD #3.
