ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
If u love real WestCoast rap this is an album that anyone in the world would not be disappointed in, the album contains some of the most potin skills I have to offer to the fans when it comes to my music. Growing up in California and rappin since the age 9 has really payed off as far as mastering the style and art, but my biggest concern has always been wanted to let the world know what I have to offer. Being an independent an unsigned artist has been a struggle thru the years but the drive I have is different from alot of artist. At the age of 17 I was blessed to have met JAM MASTER J when a guy from my neighborhood named JAYO FELONY was signed to him. Thru the years Ive worked with alot of artist such as KOKANE who was signed to Ruthless Records by the late great EAZY-E and has featured on many albums such as SNOOP DOGGS last meal and various other albums. Although growin up in a time when rap was at its best drivin by icons such as ICE-CUBE,ICE-T,DR.DRE,2-PAC,BIGGIE SMALLS,E-40,TOO-SHORT,SNOOP DOGG,GETO BOYS,UGK,JAY-Z,WU-TANG,KOOL G RAP,BIG DADDY KANE and I can go on with the list, hiphop has seem to have takin a big turn nowadays with rap sounding like pop, so now I bring to u DIAMOND IN THE RUFF an album that speaks about good times and the struggles we face in life that anyone in the world can relate to, being an underground artist and having the ability to make mainstream songs that could make national headlines if givin the opportunity, has been my goal since a kid and this album prove's I can hang with the best in the game. Much Luv CBAND DA CHEMIST.
