CC Coletti Releases Debut CD
January 2009 – For Immediate Release
Sonic Boom Productions is pleased to announce the release of recording artist CC Coletti’s debut CD, Woodstock Lane. CC’s scorching vocals are reminiscent of such female rock luminaries as Janis Joplin and the accompanying music brings to mind legendary bands like The Black Crowes, Led Zeppelin and Bad Company. The result is a collection of pure rock songs with a soulful and at times funky vibe. Woodstock Lane proves once and for all that rock music doesn’t have to be old to be classic.
The CD was produced by well respected guitarist/songwriter Anthony Krizan. Krizan first gained notoriety in the 90’s as a member of the Spin Doctors. He has also lent his guitar prowess to such acts as John Waite and Noel Redding and his songwriting skills to collaborators such as Lenny Kravitz. The CD was recorded in his state of the art recording facility, Sonic Boom Studios in Raritan, New Jersey.
In support of the release of Woodstock Lane, CC and Anthony have formed a band and have begun playing various clubs, festivals and showcases. Audiences have delighted in the new songs including fan favorites like the “Zeppelin-esque” Quit You, The Trouble With Me (for which a supporting music video is being filmed) and a remarkably fresh cover version of Janis Joplin’s Mercedes Benz. Amazingly, one of the first tracks written for the CD, Fast Lane Addiction, has already been covered by blues rocker Shannon Curfman and reached #8 on the Billboard Blues Charts last year.
CC Coletti is known worldwide for her rocking duets and background vocals with rock and roll legend Meat Loaf and his Neverland Express World Tours. She has been featured on four of Meat Loaf's DVD's Could'nt Have Said It Better, Bat out of Hell Live with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra,Three Bats Live and a Documentary, In Search of Paradise. Her voice can be heard on the Bat Out of Hell 3 album and recently she was featured as the opening act for his European tour. Originally scheduled to perform for the first half of the tour, her performance was so impressive that she was asked to remain the opening act for the remainder of the tour.
CC started singing and creating music at a very young age in her home state of New Jersey. She has been a staple on the Jersey Rock Club scene since the tender age of 18 and her dynamic vocal abilities and stage presence have helped her develop a very large and loyal following that continues to expand both at home and abroad. CC’s powerful voice, smoldering looks and playful personality are destined to lead her and her CD, Woodstock Lane into the hearts and minds of rock lovers everywhere.
