Album Notes
"HOME" is the third CD from the Cecilia Coleman Quintet and features her original compositions performed by her working band from 1991-1997. The band is made up of Steve Huffsteter (trumpet), Andy Suzuki (tenor saxophone),Cecilia Coleman (piano), Dean Taba (bass) and Kendall Kay (drums). This band recorded and performed for over five years and played at the Monterey Jazz Festival (1995), Telluride and Trimble Hot Springs Jazz Festival, New Mexico Jazz workshop, Kuumbwaa (Santa Cruz,CA.) and many clubs and festivals on the West Coast.
