UNDOING is a film that lives underneath the surface, behind the actions and words of its characters. Like the eyes of actors that give us a glimpse of their souls, the movie demanded a score that would provide the connective tissue between images and emotions. Thankfully we had Ceiri Torjussen, and the wonderful musicians he brought onboard to perform his compositions, to capture, with haunting beauty, the strangeness of love, in a voice of fierce delusion, and relentless patience. His score provokes the imagination toward a private experience, and the profound comfort is that such an experience can be shared.
