ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
KAX, I REALLY ENJOYED YOUR CD SEVEN, SEVEN HAS A VARIETY OF MUSIC AND LYRICS THAT I LIKE. TO ME THAT SHOWS THE DEPTH OF AN ARTIST AND ESPECALLY THE TALENT. THIS CD HAS IT ALL FROM THE FLOWING MUSIC OF "I WANT TO TAKE YOU HOME," TO THE TOE TAPPING SONG "STOREHOUSE" TO THE INSTRUMENTAL GEM "DOOT" (MY TOP THREE FAVORITES). WITH "DEEP JUNGLE FUNK" I CAN USE MY IMAGINATION AND VISUALIZE THE NATIVES! "THIS BAG" IS A SONG THAT I ACTUALLY ENJOYED BETTER AFTER HEARING IT THE SECOND TIME AROUND. "I STILL LOVE MOTOWN" HAS A CATCHY TUNE WITH CATCHY LYRICS AND FUN TO LISTEN TO (INCLUDING PICKING UP BONNIE IN THE BACKGROUND TOO!) LAST BUT NOT LEAST IS "NEW YORK CHIN". THIS SONG TO ME SOUNDS LIKE RAP BUT IS ACTUALLY IS BETTER THAN RAP. IF RAP MUSIC SOUNDED LIKE "NEW YORK CHIN", I WOULD BE ABLE TO LISTEN TO IT. THE LYRICS AND THE MUSIC MADE "NEW YORK CHIN" FUN TO SIT BACK AND JUST ENJOY. THANKS FOR THE CD AND BEST OF LUCK TO YOU. (YOU HAVE TOO MUCH TALENT NOT TO BE NOTICED!) YOUR FRIEND,JOHNNY D.

DJ PJ for The Top Dog Review

Stupendous! Outrageous! Contagious!
A funky, punky, spunky, hippie, zippie, hoppin' rockin'
piece of sonic art, sure to light your fire and soothe your soul! A highly original tunesmith who uses the nuggets
of past masters and makes them his own! Pick this one up now and be a part of the cutting edge crowd before major label stardom hits! A must have in your collection.

When the music stops the beat goes on. We live in San Francisco and it is refreshing to hear music that embodies the true essence of soul. You can't cruise the coast and not be listening to New York Chin!
