ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
César Muñoz is truly an unexplored talent in the secular music community. A true jibaro adopted by the windy city and recognized for his early accomplishments with gospel trio "Los Seguidores de Cristo", Munoz has created a tone and style which is reflected as a "trovador" of charming and melodic presence.

His versatility is recognized not only by knowledge of poetry, improvization and musical ability, but through his compositions and arrangemnts in songs like "Canta Jibarito" (WLP Publishing), which has been interpreted by many around the world, including the late Tony Croatto. Recent recorded and live collaborations include names like Luis Miranda, master cuatro player Eligio Prodigio Claudio, Los Hermanos Morales and Orlando "El Mostro" Santiago among others.

Born in the town of San Lorenzo, as young boy and brother of 14 siblings he has always been submerged in the love of music through his family, especially by his father "Don Pichingo", who was well known for hosting the largest sung rosary marches in his town.
