Overtime & remembering 3/27/65
Listening to these re-released tracks takes me back to the 3/27/65 album with Charlie at the 10th Memorial Concert recorded live at Carnegie Hall with Dizzy Gillespie, Lee Konitz, James Moody, Roy Eldridge and many other great musicians. The smooth transitions between artists and the clarity of sound was achieved with effortless ease- what a master and still sounding great after all these years. The sound never ages.
