ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
One day Buddah was watching COPS on television ; it was the one the many "Tazed and Conused" epsiodes. He felt guilty that someone elses suffering would bring such jovial laughter. Just then a commercial came on, A debonair man standing before a private jet began to take off his clothes, and throw away his possesions. He then cut out his own eye and a small imp of a demon sprung forth holding a boquet of firey appendages. Quoth the IMP,:
"If you knew the truth you would be CHET too"

“ ... I am afraid to play it because its creepy looking [...] Its the kind of stuff that I always associate with [sic] cult figures, because its got that Manson look to it. [...] because I’m just looking at this, and I figure there is gotta be some subliminal messages in this music that’s gonna make me wanna go out and do something that I don’t want to do.”

The Birth of Chet

The Chet Parsons Project formed April 2003, in Manchester, UK. Originally as a 3 piece; Chet on guitar, Estella on Bass and Thurston on drums. The group started by playing bars and coffee houses around London in Dec 2003. Living out of their beat up van, Chet printed their own CD's, shirts, and stickers which sold out every show.

From the money they made touring the UK, funded Chet to move on to Amsterdam in April 2004.During their tour in The Netherlands they released their Dutch single Staring at the wall... and their EP Chet in the Dark, both of which sold like hotcakes after their shows.

In in January 2005, Chet left Amsterdam and made way to Tokyo, Japan. Playing shopping malls and music festivals, The Project made the young schoolgirls scream "I love you Chet!" as they were escorted out the mall.

The Chet Parsons Project has signed with Infinity Record and is now headed over to the USA. The Project has added Seryozha, their new American drummer. Thurston is moving to guitar. Chet is now recording their first album, which will shake up the rock and roll world in 2006.

TRUE PUNK ROCK

Not exactly 1 genre of music, a little metal influence, some grunge influence, i
Free Five Song CD I got after a SOAD show. It appears to be a demo.

Pretty much rocks. Lots dark guitar parts with throbbing bass.

Alot of screaming with some singng.

Not exactly 1 genre of music, a little metal influence, some grunge influence, indie rock.

Cant tell if they are local or bigger, the production is a little rough in spots but no worse than some records i have paid fat cash for.
